I did not try to use it, because one of the pots came cracked. I decided not to order by mail another one (it is very heavy to carry back to post office); plus it would take a lot of space in my kitchen and I will have to store other two pots. Instead I went to Target and bought one 4-quart slow cooker for $19.99 w/ceramic pot (I do not want to use meal). It is lighter, cheaper and works perfectly.

Orederd from Amazon, took ovet a month to recieve. Didn`t even get to cook a complete meal before it quit working. Big pain in the rear to return….Hope I can fix it! Caution ordering from Amazon, mostly discontiued items. Your better off going to a dept. store and paying a couple of bucks more…atleast you can return it….

I BOUGHT THIS RATHER EXPENSIVE PRODUCT BECAUSE OF THE PERCEIVED VERSATILITY IT SEEMED TO OFFER. HOWEVER I FOUND THE CROCKS TO BE VERY HEAVY, AWKWARD TO HANDLE AND CHALLENGING TO STORE. THE HEATING UNIT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ADEQUATELY POWERED FOR THE LARGEST CROCK AND I WORRIED THAT FOOD WOULD NOT BE COOKED PROPERLY. I GAVE AWAY THIS MACHINE.

I can only imagine that this crock pot works very well, given all the great reviews I’ve read. However, I ordered model 33134 with the multi-colored bowls and got, instead, all white bowls – model #33133. I’d seen that 1 or 2 other reviewers got the wrong colored bowls/wrong model # too, hoped it was a fluke, and went ahead and ordered anyways. Now it seems to be more of a practice than an accident for them to send whichever model happens to be sitting nearby when the order comes in. If you especially care about which color you get, I’d try to call them before they send it out. Or, here’s a radical concept, how about the company (Today’s Concept) just sends out the right model #? So, not impressed with customer service, I guess I’d say. But that’s not Hamilton Beach’s fault – Hamilton Beach is a great company, as far as I can tell.

The Hamilton Beach 33134 3-in-1 slow cooker is for the multi-color bowls, which is what I wanted. However, what I received was the one with white bowls (model 33133). The slow cooker came in the original box for model 33133 but there was a sticker over it showing 33134. I called the company and they said it was an Amazon error, they do not have any of the multi-color bowls and I will receive a refund in 2-3 days.
