Okay… I must start this review by stating that at first I was totally blown away by the functionality and usefulness of the Magic Mouse… WHEN MAGICPREFS was used. I bought the thing after seeing it at the Apple store and used with magicPrefs. With the freebee utility this thing opens up lots and lots on enhanced interaction methods which after some practice truly can enhance you speed of operation…
Unless…
YOU HAVE A PPC MAC!!!
Since magicPrefs is NOT AN APPLE product and the developer cannot seem to get it to NOT HOSE a PPC machine… a PPC Mac user is stuck with what the Apple Wireless Mouse driver provides… WHICH IS LESS THEN THE MIGHTY MOUSE.
If you have a PPC Mac DO NOT BOTHER WITH THE MAGIC MOUSE!

Apple is selling this for $70 new. Lowest price on Amazon is $93… Really? The mouse looks nice, but I’d rather pay MSRP than 133% of MSRP.

Seems that Apple is more focused on the design than the stability/reliability/funcionality of their product. That’s not the first time that I became disappointed with apple product.
I bought this mouse as gift to my husband. He follow all the instructions on the guide but even that the mouse was not stable. The pointer moved not according to the mouse move.
My husband just decided to back to the usb mouse and leave this mouse on the box.
