  1. I purchased 2 of the 16GB product. Neither was recognized by any of my three computers. I determined that the problem was with their USB connector. When I used their extension cable, the 16GB worked fine on all of my systems. Attempting to talk to their Tech Support was much like talking to my dog — they only have one answer to all questions and did not exhibit human intelligence. Also, if you have a NAS, the drive letters will conflict.

  2. I bought the 2 MB version of this device for about $65, and it was defective upon arrival. After a lot of hassle, they gave a RMA to send it in for repair. It was in repair for two months and finally I got it back with a note saying simply: “Tested” I copied about 5 small files to it and I thought it might be working. Later I delected the files and now I can no longer write to it at all. I tried on another laptop computer and same problem. I have lots of cheap USB flash memory modules that all work perfectly. Of course, meanwhile the price has dropped by 50% and I have yet to get any use out it. The lifetime warranty goes like this: It will take your entire lifetime to get a working device. I strongly advise you to avoid this product brand entirely. The device is garbage and the warranty is worthless because you just get more garbage after waiting another couple of months. Or maybe you enjoy being passed around customer service for an hour and interrogated as if you are stupid. I am an electrical engineer with 12 patents. You just stick it in the hole and write files to it. How hard can it be?

  3. I had to return the flash drive because it was much to slow. I have other drives that I use for back up of photos and files that are much faster on both record and playback. However the return process was a breeze with Amazon, as it always is.

  4. I anxiously awaited the arrival of this drive. When I received it, I plugged it in and I found that if and when it was detected, other physical HD’s would disappear from my computer. Sometimes it would detect and sometimes it would not. Whenever it did detect, one or more of my physical drives HD or DVD, would disappear from my available drives. A quick message to Amazon got me an RMA and a return. The money was credited back to my credit card within a week.
