I ordered the 8″ unit, the invoice lists the 8″ unit but they sent a 5″ unit. Now I have to pay return shipping and a 10% fee to return it. I could order another but I would guess the same thing will happen. I am going to BestBuy.

The case looks nice and serves its purpose, however, it doesn’t fit my external hard drive either. I have a WD my passport elite 500 GB. So confirm that it will before you purchase.

The dimensions in the listing are incorrect, hence the 1 star. The outside is actually 4.25 x 5.5 x 1.5 and the interior is 3.5 x 4.5 x .875. It appears to be a nice case but I was hoping to fit a 3.5″ sata drive in it. If the listed dimensions were correct it would have worked nicely and probably have gotten 4 stars. Alas it’s going back to Amazon and I’ll have toy find something else.
