Newegg TV: On The Go — Nokia N900 & Sony S-Series MP3 Player
www.newegg.com This week Rich brings you an “On the Go” double-review from Newegg TV! The Nokia N900 @ Newegg bit.ly The Nokia N900 is more than a smart phone; it’s a mobile computer. Featuring the new Maemo Operating System, 32GB of memory, a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen, and a built-in 5MP camera, the N900 dips into multitasking and media playback with ease. The Nokia N900 also won “Best Travel Gadget” in the Travel + Liesure Design Awards 2010: bit.ly Sony Walkman S-Series (S545) @ Newegg: bit.ly It takes a lot for an MP3 player to stand out in today’s market, but the Sony Walkman S-series S545 model manages to do so by combining an intuitive UI, responsive playback and navigation, and a plug-and-play PC connection that eschews proprietary software in favor of the ease of drag-and-drop. With a sleek design and surprisingly decent audio from the built-in speakers, Sony brings us an MP3 player that does its job very well. – Credits – Editing & Special Effects: Lam Writing, Technical Mumbo-Jumbo: Rich Camera, Lighting & Sound: Paul
n900 ftw
@Kingzogre Thanks, I like my head as well.
hes wrong about the sony mp3 player having 2 speakers in the front and 2 in the back, theres only 2 speakers in total. the 2 speakers is rear-firing because if you flip the mp3 player backwards, the sound will be louder than if you were looking at the screen.
Excellent review of the N900. One of the best I have seen.
PC>>>>>>>>Phone
DigitalCamera>>>>>>>>5mpic crap
I see you guys are using a Sony Bravia as a computer display? Why? And what are the model/specs for that HDTV?
Great review!
no matter how sophisticated gadgets. hate always charging a battery, the teeny tiny screens, paying through the nose for every little semi-useful feature, lack of adequate interfaces, and pitiful sound.
every1 turn on the transcribe audio, it turns this into a very interesting video xD, but yea nicely done vid guys ^-^

You can check out the Sansa Clip+ I bought an 8gb for like $60. It has a microSD slot and the audio quality is excellent. Also, it has a built-in clip so you can clip it to your clothes while exercising and such. It also dioesn’t require proprietary software.
Amazing! The Nokia N900, to me seems like the best smartphone to date! I would have loved if he would have talked a little about applications or compatibility with other software. I love how the little things impressed me so much, that little stand for the phone and the lens cover is a great feature to have. I loved how the webbrowser looked, finally someone got it right. I’m inclined to buy this, now if only I could find a carrier here in Puerto Rico <.<
Great review of the n900, thanks!
Shame you’re a rofldin mind you
*ghost wolf > run for the hills*
N900! You should’ve talked about the stereo speakers, 800×480 screen, and video out. Good vid tho!
500 for the nokia . I think the iphone still better for that price
lol mine’s just a push up phone and is a bit cruddy now for scratches on the lens, but the lens hides away when it’s not opened therefore lens cover…sort of.
No proprietary software makes the Sony player very very attractive. Screw iTunes and Zune Marketplace.
What I don’t get about smart phones for everyday person use like a 15 or 14 year old….why have a “computer” with you when you could interact with people and just use your home computer later?
awesome review bro. Very informational.
video cards..motherboards..power supplies!!!
Wow Horde FTW
haha gay blood elf if ur rollin horde be something that looks bad ass
Both look really cool. I really would love having that phone but at that price it’s just not reasonable. It would be nice for a carrier to offer a special contract price on it.
@Zenshiro14 I for one like his head.
